Our system supports over 50,000 retailers and 500 brands internationally with offices on the Gold Coast, in Melbourne, and in the United Kingdom.
The role will preferably be based on the Gold Coast, however, work from home or other options may be available for the right candidate.

About the role
- We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic Technical Lead.
- You will be the technical expert on all aspects of the Brandscope product solution. Working in partnership with our Product Manager and Tech Team you will help conceive, architect and incrementally bring to life high-quality software solutions.
- You will need to love tech and will have a large say in how we elevate it to the next level.
- You will play a big part in relationship building, communicating with our customers on technical tasks, and onboarding.
- While the focus of this role is on leadership, you will remain hands-on and be expected to coach, mentor, and help junior staff improve their skills.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 6 years of IT experience with 2 years minimum in a lead role or as a senior developer.
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
- Experience in working with remote teams.
- Fluent in modern dev frameworks and solutions such as Ruby on Rails, React, and Postgres.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD (preferably AWS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Experience in integration with 3rd party systems and APIs.
- Knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs, and confidence working with JSON, CSV, and similar technologies.
- Work alongside Engineering, Support, and Partnership teams to launch new integrations using various APIs (REST/SOAP/EDI).
- Lead, develop, motivate, and coach team members toward achieving goals and continuous learning.
